I’m back from NYC and all I got was this stupid cold…not really, it was AWESOME, but yes, I’m sick now. :(
I had such a great time in NYC! Went to ALL the touristy places, took tons of pictures, and the weather was pretty good.
Things that were awesome:
- New York Public Library
- Times Square
- Central Park
- Thalia’s (It is the best restaurant! I sat on a leather couch, ate Eggs Benedict, and drank mimosas. Basically, best brunch experience ever!)
- 30 Rock!
- NBC store - (The only souvenirs that I got from NYC, for myself, were from the NBC store and they were all Parks related…wait, no, I bought a scarf and sunglasses, too, so there!)
- Comedy Shows (yes, plural - they were both a bit awkward, in different ways…but still fun?) Apparently, I look like an art teacher that smokes pot…I don’t smoke pot, but am a teacher. Thanks, comedian…for making it weird. Idk, I guess most art teachers smoke pot?
- Seeing Rent!
- The Met
- Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge
- 9/11 Memorial
- Hailing a cab for the first time!
- Taking the subway for the first time!
- Walking about 5 miles every day.
- Never getting lost because I AM THE NAVIGATOR!
